Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 105-07) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves council minutes of May 24, 2007 and recreation committee minutes of May 29, 2007, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No.106-07) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves general account to June 6, 2007 as presented in the amount of $7,351.12. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 107-07) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council donates $200.00 to CASS graduation ceremonies. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 108-07) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council congratulates CASS Athletic Department on its recent award of excellence for athletic programs. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 109-07) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports resolution of City of Kawartha Lakes in requesting the Provincial Government address the Canada goose problem. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 110-07) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves By-law Number 862-07 setting tax ratios for 2007 taxation year. CARRIED Mayor Beitz reported on meeting with the Federal Government on buoy storage area. Summer meeting are set for July 25 and August 22, 2007.
