Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 61-08) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves council minutes of March 19, 2008, as presented. CARRIED Road Superintendent Hunter will contact Gilbertson Enterprises to review gravel placed on several roads during the 2007 construction season. ON MOTION (No. 62-08) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to April 2, 2008 as presented in the amount of $8,245.22. CARRIED It was the consensus of council to ask opinion of solicitor and insurance agent regarding municipal alcohol management policies. ON MOTION (No. 63-08) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves By-law Number 873-08 authorizing Mayor and Clerk sign Amending Agreement with the Ontario Provincial Police. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 64-08) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves By-law Number 874-08 authorizing Mayor and Clerk sign New Agreement with the Ontario Provincial Police. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 65-08) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves of plaque for new washroom at Laird Hall, and recognizes staff at 5 year intervals with gift certificate.
