Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Charles Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 181-08) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of November 5, recreation committee minutes of October 22, and management board minutes of October 16, 2008, as presented. CARRIED Martin West spoke to council about his application to rezoning side yard, Lot 13, Plan IM568. ON MOTION (No. 182-08) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council not approve By-law 881-08 rezoning Lot 13, Plan IM568, MacDonald Drive, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 183-08) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves general accounts to November 19, 2008 as presented in the amount of $11,048.32. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 184-08) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to October 31, 2008 as presented in the amount of $11,795.46. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 185-08) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves Cemetery By-law 882-08, and submit same to Ministry of Government Services for endorsement. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 186-08) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approve request of Johnson Township for donation of $100.00 to CASS Athletics. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 187-08) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves attendance of Clerk at AMO's Session on Moving Beyond PSAB and Federal Gas Tax Money, in North Bay, November 25, 2008. CARRIED Council's December meeting will be held December 10, 2008. ON MOTION (No. 188-08) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves setting office closure from December 22, 2008 to January 5, 2009. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 189-08) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves application to Building Canada Fund, as discussed in the amount of $299.550.00. CARRIED It was the consensus of council to request an explanation from the Fire Chief as to why the Fire Department was fighting a fire at the corner of Highway 17 and Calabogie Road, from the Highway.
