CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 47-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves minutes of February 18, 2009 as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 48-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to March 4, 2009 as presented in the amount of $7,955.37. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 49-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council pays OMEX/ROMA latest supplemental assessment of $6,676.00 by April 2, 2009 for a savings of $363.84. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 50-09) Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council endorses resolution of City of Cambridge in petitioning the Provincial Government require installation of internet filtering software on all public school and library computers in Ontario. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 51-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council authorizes Clerk attend Municipal Lecture Presentation of Rusty Russell in Orillia, April 8, 2009. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 52-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council authorizes two staff members attend 2009 AMCTO’s 71st Annual General Meeting and Professional Development in Sault Ste. Marie, June 14-17, 2009. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 53-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves 2009 budget of Laird fairgrounds management board, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 54-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council goes to amalgamated tender for supplies and material, as presented. CARRIED It is suggested that a policy be developed for persons renting Laird hall and that a copy of the policy be given out with the key for each event. The proposed new roof for Laird hall was discussed. It is to be given to the hall committee for review. Councillor Junor reported on Ontario Good Road Association conference. ON MOTION (No. 55-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports an application to RBC Leadership Grant/Blue Water Project as presented.
