ON MOTION (No. 160-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of June 24 and recreation committee minutes of June 29, 2009, as presented. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 161-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves By-law 887-09 authorizing rezoning of side yard at 154 Maskinonge Bay Road. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 162-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydal that council closes the next portion of the meeting to the public to address personal issues. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 163-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No.164-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves purchase of used excavator from Tracks and Wheels for a cost of $179,000.00. CARRIED

Fire Chief Janice Catling reviewed plans for water tank at the disposal site.

Jennifer Moran spoke to council about Official Plan mapping.

ON MOTION (No. 165-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to June 30, 2009 as presented in the amount of $99,615.05. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 166-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves general accounts to July 22, 2009 as presented in the amount of $69,370.15. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 167-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves RfP for park equipment of Henderson in the amount of $33,329.71 and pay the $1,935.94 required for spider net from park reserve fund. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 168-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council investigates the possibility of purchasing a portion of land adjacent the south boundary of the waste disposal site. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 169-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves quote of Tulloch Engineering with regards to the BCF-CC Grant for the waste disposal site. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 170-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council request road department to remove all new asphalt placed by Laird International Raceway at Laird fairgrounds, and have the bill for costs sent to LIR. D. Varcoe is to be advised to remove septic tank truck and 2 demo cars from fairground property by August 1, 2009. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 171-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves By-law 891-09 setting 2009 tax rate for municipal purposes at 0.01035156, which is 98.6% of 2008 rate. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 172-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves resolution of Town of Innisfil, regarding harmonized sales tax as it relates to electricity rates. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 173-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports resolution of the Township of Stirling-Rawdon regarding municipal drinking water licensing plan. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 174-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports resolution of FONOM regarding cellular phone coverage. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 175-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports Algoma Federation of Agriculture regarding slower-moving vehicle signs. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 176-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports resolution of Municipality of Hasting Highlands regarding fair payment for fire services. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 177-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves changes to Community Emergency Management Program Committee as suggested. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 178-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that a draft resolution be prepared regarding wildlife damage to crops, expressing that Ministry of Natural Resources should reimburse land owners for damaged crops. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 179-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council advises MPP Mike Brown and Minister of Health and Long Term Care David Caplan of its concerns regarding delay of the Algoma Manor Redevelopment Project. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 180-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council advises land owners along the south boundary of Pumpkin Point Park of future plans, ask for the removal of personal items from the park property as well as review dog issues. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 181-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
