ON MOTION (No. 182-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves council minutes of July 22, 2009 as presented. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 183-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves road accounts to July 31, 2009 as presented in the amount of $41,295.50. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 184-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to August 19, 2009 as presented in the amount of $57,044.45. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 185-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council endorses resolution of Canadian Union of Postal Workers regarding public post offices and rural delivery. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 186-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council donates $250.00 to the Haldimand County Disaster Relief Committee. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 187-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council endorses resolution of the Township of Huron-Kinloss in petitioning the Province of Ontario designate Giant Hogweed as one of the plants in the Schedule R.R. 1990, Reg. 1096 under the Weed Control Act so that immediate action to destroy by an appointed weed inspector can take place. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 188-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports the efforts of the City of Sault Ste. Marie and others in attempting to save the Huron Central Rail Line. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 189-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council endorses resolution #2009-251 of the City of Greater Sudbury on calling on the Government of Canada introduce changes to the Employment Insurance system. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 190-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council supports the resolution of the City of Greater Sudbury regarding the Proposed Workplace Fatalities Family Bill of Rights CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 191-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council endorses resolution #20-0804-09 of the Township of Madawaska Valley in petitioning the Province to ensure an increase in funding for additional Personal Supports Workers and provide a minimum of 4 hours of service per client visit. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 192-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports SEA Intern Application. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 193-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council closes the next portion of the meeting to the public to discuss a property issue. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 194-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council return to open meeting. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 195-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
