Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Acting Clerk: Jennifer Moran Councillor Todd Rydall declared a conflict of interest on share-shed tenders, item 4(a) on agenda. ON MOTION (No. 227-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves council minutes of October 7, and recreation committee minutes of September 29, 2009, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 228-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves general accounts to October 28, 2009 as presented in the amount of $8,792.92. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 229-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves road accounts to September 30, 2009 as presented in the amount of $13,182.50. CARRIED Councillor Todd Rydall left the meeting, due to a conflict of interest, while council discussed 4(a) of agenda. ON MOTION (No. 230-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves tender of Khull Construction for share-shed, for a cost of $49,612.50, taxes included. CARRIED Councillor Todd Rydall re-entered council chambers. ON MOTION (No. 231-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves consent application, 713 Bar River Road, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 232-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports Algoma Manor in its concerns regarding start up for construction on the new building. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 233-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council nominates Girlie Collings for reappointment as the North Shore area representative for the senior/Disabled Services Advisory Committee. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 234-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council endorses resolution of the City of North Bay and will join in the letter-writing campaign to support the Buy American Battle Campaign.
