Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 236-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of October 28, with the deletion of Wayne Junor being present, and recreation committee minutes of October 27, 2009, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 237-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette, that council approves general accounts to November 18, 2009 as presented in the amount of $21,183.11. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 238-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves road accounts to October 31, 2009 as presented in the amount of $36,642.36. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 239-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves consent application at 779 Bar River Road, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 240-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council corresponds with Bob Wood of M.R. Wright Engineering and advise him to draw specification for Laird hall roof as per original direction, and request him to call Todd Rydal. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 241-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council advises McCarrel/Cloudy Lake Road Association of Macdonald Township's reply regarding maintenance of McCarrel Lake Road. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 242-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves By-law 894-09, Policy on Tangible Capital Assets, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 243-09) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council supports the Township of Frontenac Islands in petitioning the Federal Justice Minister to keep the six prison farms proposed for closure, open. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 244-09) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports the concerns of Township of Wainfleet in strongly objecting to the wetland mapping proposed for that municipality by the Ministry of Natural Resources, as these designations were made unilaterally and without public input. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 245-09) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports County of Perth in petitioning MPAC to provide a more timely notice regarding pending assessment changes and process outstanding building permits to ensure that no assessment revenue is lost. CARRIED  ON MOTION (No. 246-09) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council authorizes councillors Junor and Rydall attend ROMA/OGRA Conference in February, 2010.
