Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Deputy Clerk: Rhonda Crozier ON MOTION (No. 179-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves the minutes of October 20, 2010, as presented. CARRIED Fire Chief, Janice Catling spoke to council about extending the timeframe of a fire permit to include all year long. ON MOTION (No. 180-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves general accounts to November 3, 2010 as presented in the amount of $26,296.99. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 181-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council directs the real property at 2410 Government Road, Plan H762 Pt. Lot 29 RP 1R11323 Part 1 known as the Old Bluff School be sold by tender with a minimum tender amount of $30,000.00. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 182-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports the concerns of the Municipal Taxpayer Advocacy Group regarding rising Hydro costs and making utilities HST exempt. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 183-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council request an engineer's report from D. Varcoe on the state of the bleachers at the Laird International Raceway within 10 working days from the date of the letter. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 184-10) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that the council closes the next portion of the meeting to the public to discuss a personal issue regarding zoning. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 185-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that the council return to an open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 186-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that the council approves of proceeding to prosecute the zoning issue at Plan H759 Lot 18.
