Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Deputy Clerk: Rhonda Crozier ON MOTION (No. 188-10) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves the minutes of November 3, 2010, as presented. CARRIED Macdonald Township Council attended to discuss Highway Design, Signage on Hwy. 17 and Bar River Rd. E. Realignment. ON MOTION (No. 189-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council closes the next portion of the meeting to the public to discuss personal issues regarding zoning and property standards. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 190-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 191-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves general accounts to November 17, 2010 as presented in the amount of $11,731.48. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 192-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council grants a completion extension of January 31, 2011 on the Laird Hall Roof Tender 02-10 awarded to Khull Construction in the amount of $55,833.30. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 193-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that the council agrees to contact the Town of Wawa to determine the cost of plotting the Laird Cemetery. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 194-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that the council approves the reduction of $49.75, amounts under $5.00 remaining after tax arrears notices were printed. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 195-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that the council supports the resolution of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry regarding farmland and managed forest provincial reimbursement. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 196-10) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council allows Mayor Beitz to vote for appropriate members of Algoma District Services Administration Board, upon hearing their presentation. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 197-10) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council closes the next portion of the meeting to discuss a personal matter. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 198-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 199-10) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves of a wage increase for the Planning and Administrative Assistant up to Deputy Clerk rate and the Deputy Clerk rate up $3/hr. retroactive to September 8, 2010 and for the duration of the absence of the Clerk.
