Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Chuck Frenette, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Clerk: Phyllis MacKay A joint meeting with Laird Township Police Services Board was held with Natalie Welniak of Office of the Independent Police Review Director and S/Sgt. Wes Moore of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police in attendance. ON MOTION (No. 64-11) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of March 23, 2011 and recreation committee minutes of September 28, 2010, October 26, 2010 and November 30, 2010, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 65-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to February 28, 2011 as presented in the amount of $20,151.44. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 66-11) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to April 6, 2011 as presented in the amount of $6,223.14. CARRIED Mayor Beitz will attend Tarbutt and Tarbutt Additional Township council meeting to discuss road issues. ON MOTION (No. 67-11) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves reduction in assessment on rolls 4-10135 and 3-06400 as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 68-11) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports resolution of City of Timmins regarding Bill 151, Forest Tenure. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 69-11) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council request Rangers assist with cleaning up bags at waste disposal site. CARRIED It was the consensus of council to amend Laird International Raceway Inc.'s agreement with Laird Township to allow for three Sunday race dates.
