CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 83-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to April 20, 2011 as presented in the amount of $7,146.17. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 84-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council tables approval of Request for Proposal for 2012 Snowplow Truck until its next meeting, scheduled for May 18, 2011. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 85-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council recognizes Roy Lapish as Senior of the Year, at the Trefrey Centre BBQ, scheduled for June 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Legion. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 86-11) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that Council closes the next portion of the meeting to deal with a personal matter. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 87-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 88-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council communicates its concerns to waste disposal site attendant as discussed. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 89-11) Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports Town of Ingersoll in its attempts to have a portion of the HST on gasoline and diesel sales directed to a predictable funding mechanism that will allow Ontario's municipalities to make the critical investments needed to be effective stewards of transportation infrastructure. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 90-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports Town of Ingersoll in petitioning the Provincial Government develop and implement a plan to attract health care professionals in a fair and equitable manner, and eliminate incentives given by municipalities as part of health care recruitment. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 91-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves 2011 Laird Fairgrounds Management Board Budget, as presented in the amount of $18,750.00 revenue and expenditures. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 92-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports Private Members Bill 22 which would allow for legislated access by grandparents to their grandchildren.
