Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Wayne Junor, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 130-11) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves minutes of June 15, 2011 as presented. CARRIED Landowner from 195 Lake George Road West appeared before council to discuss Lake George Road as it relates to truck traffic, earlier years ditching and ditching in recent years. Road Superintendent Hunter will investigate truck traffic and earlier years ditching concerns. ON MOTION (No. 131-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to June 30, 2011 as presented in the amount of $25,030.30. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 132-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to July 20, 2011 as presented in the amount of $39,003.93. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 133-11) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves draft road budget for 2011 and amends general budget by reducing reserve for general and road department, to accommodate road budget. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 134-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves fire department agreement revisions as presented and submit same to Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional Township. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 135-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council pay for costs associated with righting vendors building at fairgrounds. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 136-11) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves letter written by Clerk in amending the area covered by LCBO licence at Laird International Raceway for Cornfest, August 27 and 28, 2011. CARRIED It was the consensus of council to authorize Mayor Beitz or Councillor Connolly and Clerk MacKay interview and decide on 16 month leave of absent position.
