Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 07-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves council minutes of January 4, 2012, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 08-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council closes the next portion of the meeting to the public to discuss a personal issue. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 09-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 10-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves general accounts to January 18, 2012 as presented in the amount of $18,823.50. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 11-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves road accounts to December 31, 2011 as presented in the amount of $20,068.99. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 12-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council donates $250.00 to the Laframboise Children's fishing derby. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 13-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports Victim Services of Algoma in petitioning the Ministry of the Attorney General to provide funding more in line with the population it serves. CARRIED Three rooms will be booked for the FONOM Conference scheduled for May 9-11, 2012. ON MOTION (No. 14-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports County of Huron, Low Frequency Noise (LFN) Committee's recommendation that the Ministry of Environment release its promised LFN study immediately, to be followed by a discussion of the need for/content of a LFN regulation.
