CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 83-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves By-law 923-12 as presented, rezoning property at 1063 Bar River Road. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 84-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to May 23, 2012 as presented in the amount of $7,224.01. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 85-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves road accounts to April 30, 2012 as presented in the amount of $17,233.11. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 86-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves reduction in Roll #10123 as per Municipal Property Assessment Corporation's information. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 87-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council honours CASS graduates with a $50.00 contribution for each Laird Township graduate. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 88-12) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves Laird Fairgrounds Management Board 2012 draft budget as presented. CARRIED It was the consensus of council to advise D. Varcoe that it is not in favour of Monday racing dates ON MOTION (No. 89-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council appoints John MacKay as Senior of the Year to be honoured at the Legion/Trefrey Centre BBQ, June 12, 2012. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 90-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council advises ratepayer that it will not be renting out machinery. CARRIED Councillor Connolly declared a conflict of interest regarding admin office caretaker position. ON MOTION (No. 91-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council closes the next portion of the meeting to discuss a personal issue. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 92-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that the council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 93-12) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council appoints Jillian Connolly as admin office caretaker, effective immediately.
