MINUTES OF MEETING NUMBER 35 OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD
HELD 0N JUNE 20, 2012
AT THE LAIRD TOWNSHIP OFFICE
AT 7:30 P.M.

ON MOTION (No. 108-12) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves minutes of June 6, 2012, as presented. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 109-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to May 31, 2012 as presented in the amount of $22,456.36. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 110-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves general accounts to June 20, 2012 as presented in the amount of $9,932.54. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 111-12) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves By-law Number 922-12 as presented, setting cemetery fees. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 112-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves Agreement with Laird International Raceway Inc. with addition of a clause relating to electrical repairs and new electrical construction in terms of having to obtain required permit from Electrical Safety Authority, have work completed by licensed electrical contractor and submit final inspection report to the municipality, and insert not withstanding clause as per municipal solicitor's recommendation. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 113-12) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves consent application for 4859 Highway 17 East as per Desbarats to Echo Bay Planning Board information. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 114-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council advertises for interim full-time machine operator, in North Shore Sentinel, to close Wednesday July 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 115-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council supports efforts of the Echo Bay Elks and MMAA regarding a proposed 12-12-12 party in conjunction with Central Algoma Secondary School. CARRIED

ON MOTION (No. 116-12) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
