Present: Acting Mayor: Wayne Junor Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Todd Rydall Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 13-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council appoints Councillor Junor as Acting Mayor. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 14-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves council minutes of January 16 and Laird fairgrounds management board minutes of January 16, 2013, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 15-13) of Todd Rydall and Donna Connolly that council goes to amalgamated tender as presented. CARRIED The Finns' Bay Road request to purchase back lot will be put off until spring when the lot can be viewed and the municipal planner has information from the Ministry of Natural Resources. ON MOTION (No. 16-13) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves general accounts to February 6, 2013 as presented in the amount of $12, 722.28. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 17-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports resolution of Macdonald Township in requesting the Medical Officer of Health gather and collate cancer statistics from our area. CARRIED Ramp and stair ideas for the Bar River and Laird Hall are to be requested from the respective committees. ON MOTION (No. 19-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council passes By-law 101-13 setting interim tax rates at 50% of 2012 rates. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 20-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council authorizes clerk's attendance at AMCTO Annual Workshop in Collingwood, June 9-12, 2013.
