Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Donna Connolly, Chuck Frenette, Todd Rydall Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 139-13) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of September 18, and recreation committee minutes of September 24, 2013, as presented. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 140-13) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to October 2, 2013, as presented in the amount of $11,407.41. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 141-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council approves vesting tax sale property, Roll #4-250, in the municipality's name. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 142-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council request municipal solicitor write to owners of 197 Bar River Road explaining that Bar River Road ditch is a municipal drain, and as such no work is to be done on it without municipal approval. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 143-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council corresponds with Armand Barban that consent request does not conform to proposed Official Plan and Provincial Policy Statement. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 144-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council approves MPAC reduction in assessment for 107 Finns' Bay Road North with a reduction in taxes of $1,038.18 for 2012. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 145-13) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports MPP Sylvia Jones regarding Proposed Aggregate Recycling Promotion Act. CARRIED The road department is to clean share shed, inside and outside. ON MOTION (No. 146-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that council closes the next portion of the meeting to deal with a realty matter. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 147-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette That council returns to open meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 148-13) of Chuck Frenette, seconded by Donna Connolly that council will sell back lots that are deemed suitable, while protecting wet lands. Those lots that are deemed suitable will be confirmed at next council meeting. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 149-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Chuck Frenette that the council meeting be adjourned.
