ON MOTION (No. 172-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves council minutes of November 20, 2013, as presented.
CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 173-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to November 30, 2013, in the amount of $23,041.43 as presented. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 174-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to December 18, 2013, as presented in the amount of $56,888.36. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 175-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves By-law 940-13 with amendments, setting building permit fees. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 176-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council receives Tulloch Engineering’s Asset Management Plan for review.

ON MOTION (No. 177-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that the Township of Laird supports Ministry of Natural Resources’ pilot project regarding spring bear hunt. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 178-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports Texas and Sons Guides and Outfitters’ stand on the Spring Black Bear Pilot Project in advising the MNR of its strong sense that the spring bear hunt should be reinstated. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 179-13) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports United Counties of Prescott and Russell in its proposal to amend the Aggregate Resources Act to include peat moss extraction.
CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 180-13) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council authorizes renewal of municipal insurance contract with a 2014 premium of $48,452.00. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 181-13) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that council supports Tay Valley Township in petitioning the Provincial government cease the OPP billing reform process until the Future of the Policing Advisory Committee has completed its report and the recommendation therein have been studied and municipalities have been consulted and afforded an opportunity to comment. Unincorporated townships should also be considered and contribute their fair share. Copy of this resolution to forwarded to MPP Mike Mantha. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 182-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports the Township of Mulmur in requesting that MPAC automatically and immediately re-assess all properties once the improvement has been discovered and apply the resulting increase to the current year and for the two previous taxation years, should they apply. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 183-13) of Donna Connolly, seconded by Wayne Junor that council advises North Shore Agricultural Society that Workplace Safety and Insurance Board coverage must held by contractor(s) on all fairgrounds projects as per government regulations. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 184-13) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Donna Connolly that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
