MINUTES OF MEETING NUMBER 7 OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD

ON MOTION (No. 58-15) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves council minutes of March 25, and recreation committee minutes of March 31, 2015 as presented, and approves rental fees as suggested by Laird and Bar river Hall Committees. CARRIED
Ron Stone of 195 Lake George Road West spoke to council about his issue with Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and advised of a future meeting, June 10, 2015 at his property to review the matter.
ON MOTION (No. 59-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to April 8, 2015 as presented in the amount of $33,190.02. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 60-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council commits to a minimum of 80 hours for rental of boom mower.
CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 61-15) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Frank Turco that council approves By-law 963-15 setting speed limits on Pumpkin Point Road East.
CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 62-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Ed Lapish that council registers persons for FONOM/MMAH Conference set for May 6-8/15 in Sudbury. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 63-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council advises the Algoma District School Board that it is not interested in purchasing the former Laird Central Public School. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 64-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Frank Turco that council supports Lynn Watson in his bid to become this area's Algoma District Municipal Association representative to Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 65-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council authorizes Mayor Dick Beitz attend the Annual Meeting of the Algoma District Services Administrative Board, April 23, 2015. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 66-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Ed Lapish that council supports the formation of a committee to advise on the wharf property off Finns' Bay Road. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 67-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
