Present: Mayor: Dick Beitz Councillors: Wayne Junor, Ed Lapish, Todd Rydall, Frank Turco Clerk: Phyllis MacKay ON MOTION (No. 109-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Ed Lapish that council approves council minutes of June 17, recreation committee notes of June 24 and Laird Fairgrounds Management Board minutes of July 14 and 17, 2015, as presented. CARRIED Alan Elliott appeared before council to express thanks for the Newsletter printed on the reverse of the recent tax bill, and reported on dogs in his area. He thinks the problem may be solved. ON MOTION (No. 110-15) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Frank Turco that council approves road accounts to May 31, 2015 as presented in the amount of $35,530.12. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 111-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council approves general accounts to July 22, 2015 as presented in the amount of $146,794.17. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 112-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council supports resolution of New Tecumseth in petitioning the Provincial Government to review industrial and farm rates for electricity. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 113-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Frank Turco that council supports North Shore Agricultural Society's horse competition by donating $250.00. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 114-15) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Ed Lapish that council approves recommendation of Tulloch Engineering supporting costs of $13,923.00 plus HST, for Government Road bridge extras, providing Road Superintendent is satisfied with the drainage issue. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 115-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council closes the next portion of the meeting to discuss litigation issues. CARRIED ON MOTION (No. 116-15) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Frank Turco that council returns to open meeting.
