MINUTES OF MEETING NUMBER 50 OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD
HELD 0N JUNE 7, 2016
AT THE LAIRD TOWNSHIP OFFICE
AT 7:30 P.M.
Present:
Mayor: Dick Beitz
Councillors: Wayne Junor, Ed Lapish, Todd Rydall, Frank Turco
Road Superintendent: Michael Hunter
Clerk: Phyllis MacKay
ON MOTION (No. 91-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Frank Turco that council approves minutes of May 17, 2017, as presented. CARRIED
The municipal road budget was reviewed.
ON MOTION (No. 92-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to April 30 and May 31, 2017 in the amount of $32,058.53 and $41,098.60 respectively. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 93-17) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Frank Turco that council approves general accounts to June 7, 2017 as presented in the amount of $21,571.15. CARRIED
The recreation committee budget was reviewed and given further consideration by each sub-committee.
The municipal general budget was reviewed.
It was reported that to replace the front step on the municipal office would be more than $2,000. No action taken.
Councillor Turco reviewed mausoleums and other methods of interment.
ON MOTION (No. 94-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
