THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD
HELD 0N NOVEMBER 22, 2017
AT THE LAIRD TOWNSHIP OFFICE
AT 7:30 P.M.
Present:

ON MOTION (No. 159-17) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves minutes of November 1, 2017, as presented. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 160-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves general accounts to November 22, 2017, as presented in the amount of $50,281.46. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 161-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Wayne Junor that council approves road accounts to October 31, 2017 as presented in the amount of $27,235.01. CARRIED
It was the consensus of council to have the brakes on the half-ton repaired at JT's Auto.
ON MOTION (No. 162-17) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Todd Rydall that council supports the resolution of Municipality of Morris-Turnberry regarding perceived unfair MPAC assessment on non-tillable land, and requests MPAC act immediately on applications for reconsideration. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 163-17) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Todd Rydall that council passes By-law 991-17, authorizing the Mayor and Clerk sign the 9-1-1 CERB-OPP Agreement. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 164-17) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Ed Lapish that council closes the next portion of the meeting to discuss a personal issue.
CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 165-17) of Todd Rydall, seconded by Ed Lapish that council returns to open meeting. CARRIED
ON MOTION (No. 166-17) of Wayne Junor, seconded by Ed Lapish that the council meeting be adjourned. CARRIED
