INFORMATION
The station, built in 2005, attracts nature enthusiasts from throughout the region. This natural wetland is a haven for many different species of birds including the spring migration of Pintail, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, and American Widgeon. Sandhill Cranes can be seen in the summer and depending upon the severity of the season, a variety of owls in the winter. From the viewing platform you can also see across Lake George and get a sense of the rustic shoreline that was created when glaciers carved out the lake many years ago.
