Laird Recreation hosted a very successful inaugural Pumpkin Fest!!

To all Laird Residents who took part, THANK YOU for making our first PUMPKIN FEST
such a fun filled and enjoyable day for all.
Laird Recreation Pumpkin Fest raised over $750 cash and a truckload of food
for the Christmas Cheer Program.
Without the help and support of our community and volunteers, this would not have possible,
so THANK YOU, see you again next year!

Algoma Lawnmower Racing Association for an afternoon of exciting entertainment
Faye Crozier and Child Care Algoma for the HOURS of face painting
Echo Bay Co-Op for prize donations towards the pumpkin carving and painting contest
Chuck Siddall for the loan of the perfect scale to weigh the giant pumpkins
Miki, Tim, and Lucky Barthelmes for bringing chickens and manning the animal station
Shawn Evoy and Frank Turco for the loan of the BBQs and being our cooks for the day
Chuck Frenette for manning the gate and accepting the cash and food donations for Christmas Cheer
Cheryl Frenette for donation of Pumpkin Pies for prizes at the Lawnmower Races
